Ingredients
- 2¼ cups of flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened a bit, but not too soft (very important, to keep cookies soft)
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- ¾ cup packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 extra large eggs
- 2 cups (12 oz package NESTLE semi-sweet chocolate morsels)
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup old fashioned oats
- ½ large package angel flake coconut
Directions
Preheat oven to 375° conventional oven, 350° convection oven Cookies Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl.
Beat until creamy butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract in a large mixer bowl. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Gradually beat in flour mixture.
Add morsels, pecans, oats, and coconut until evenly mixed.
Drop by rounded 1½-2 TBL balls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 11 minutes (or until golden brown). Do not overcook. Cool on baking sheet for 2 minutes.
Remove to wire racks to cool completely.
Store in an airtight container.
